JANUARY 12TH - SLEEPY COMMUTERS HEADLINES DAILY MAIL ONLINE

Perhaps you are a fan of Sleepy Commuters because of our appearance on The Mail Online. We headed the main page for two days and launched the Sleepy Commuters brand into worldwide fame!

Emma Reynolds of the Mail collected the best of our photos from our Twitter feed - @SleepyCommuters and explored a number of commuters napping in 'the most extraordinary and uncomfortable positions'

The piece raised issues on privacy and the consequence of the social networking revolution, highlighting the fact that websites such as Facebook, Twitter and many others publish photographs of people without their knowledge on a daily basis. But, as we have stated, this site's purpose is not to ridicule or point fun at commuters, it's simply a collection of commuters whilst on public transport and legal information raised by the article can be found here -> http://photorights.org/faq/is-it-legal-to-take-photos-of-people-without-asking

One amused user commented, "Hahahahaha! Love the nose pressed up against the rail. Hope they didn't miss their stop."

Whilst another added, "lol that made me giggle"
